Sport Programme Blown and Washed Away

by isleofman.com 27th October 2008
This afternoons sport has suffered heavily due to the severe weather.

All Hockey fixtures were postponed yesterday.

Only one match is still on in Football - Combination Two - Castletown v Foxdale

Rugby looks to be unaffected at the moment. Wigan and Capenhurst have arrived on the island for their South Lancashire and Cheshire League games against Vagabonds and Ramsey respectively.

However, match referees will have the final say with conditions set to worsen if anything.

And Douglas have travelled away to play Trentham.
