Vagabonds defeat Wigan

Vagabonds maintained their unbeaten home record in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One with a 27-8 win over struggling Wigan.

Vagas led 14-3 at half-time with tries from Leigh Kennaugh and Andy Pease, plus two conversions from Gavin Henson giving them a huge advantage after playing into the wind.

Andy Pease picked up his second try of the game after the break before a conversion, plus two penalties from Jonny Beckley, wrapped the game up, despite a consolation try from the visitors.
