Disruption for motorists

by isleofman.com 27th October 2008
Motorists are being told they could face disruption over the next six months with several roads being dug up around the Island.

Several upcoming projects involving the Water Authority have been announced in a written answer in Tynwald.

The completion of the Birch Hill to Main Road to Whitebridge scheme in Onchan will take place and it's expected to be finished early next year.

There's also going to be road works from Patrick to Glen Maye so work can be carried out on an old water main.

In addition, work will start on a loop road scheme in St Judes which will commence in the first few months of next year.

Also the final stage of the Ballacallin project will begin later in 2009 with a new water main from Patrick to Peel.
