Boat refloated by fire crews

by isleofman.com 27th October 2008
Fire crews were called into action in Peel yesterday afternoon, after a boat started to sink in the town’s harbour.

It's thought Saturday’s torrential rain could have contributed to the problem.

Crews were at the scene for an hour and half, pumping out the boat.

They used a major pump and a light portable pump to successfully re-float the craft.
