Disability conference at the Villa today

Raising awareness of people with disabilities in the Isle of Man is the focus of an event taking place in Douglas today.

A Disability Discrimination Conference is being held at the Promenade Suite at the Villa Marina.

Topics on the agenda include health, access to buildings, employment and education.

Isabel Miller from the organisation United Response works with adults with learning disabilities and says there will be plenty of things to talk about (audio file attached):
