Former minister to give evidence tomorrow

The Tynwald Select Committee looking into the affairs of the Manx Electricity Authority will hear more evidence tomorrow.

A hearing will take place starting at 2.30pm in the Millennium Room of Legislative Buildings in Douglas.

The five-strong committee will hear evidence from former Trade and Industry Minister Alex Downie, MLC.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

There will be a further sitting of the committee on Friday of next week.

At 10.30am evidence will be taken from goverment advocate Stephen Harding and an hour later Her Majesty's Attorney General John Corlett will take the stand.
