Centenary celebration next month

The centenary of the Territorial Army is to be celebrated in the Isle of Man next month.

The anniversary will be commemorated with an event at the Legion Club in Douglas on November 14.

Brigadier Norman Butler (pictured), who is one of the organisers, says it’s important to recognise the Territorial Army's place in the Island's history, including its contribution after World War II:
