Police condemn 'pathetic' crime

by isleofman.com 31st October 2008
An elderly Douglas man is going to have to pay to repair a window in his property after it was smashed by vandals.

It happened late last night on the corner of Allan Street.

At least one resident heard the sound of broken glass and alerted police.

Officers describe it as a "pathetic and pointless" act which means a 90 year-old man will have to find funds he can ill afford to repair the damage.

They say if whoever was responsible has a conscience they should come forward.
