The station teamed up with Shoprite for an action packed day of fund raising and outside broadcasting, with a range of events at a number of the company's stores.

Over ?4,000 was donated to the appeal from the in-store activities, and the charity expects to make a further two and a half thousand pound from on-air pledges.

Manx Radio staff collected over ?200 in buckets at sporting events.

The Dream Catcher Appeal is run by a trust, and will invite charities, groups and individuals to write in with requests for assistance, in the form of goods and services.
