Fruits of housing project go online

Finding out information about the government's House Purchase Assistance Scheme and public sector housing has just got a lot easier.

New web pages have been put together thanks to a Manx student studying at Edinburgh University.

They explain in simple terms what's involved in applying for council houses and first time buyer homes.

Laurel Kelly undertook the work as a summer project under the Shell Step programme, which is designed to help businesses address specific challenges by employing undergraduates.
