Island too small for party politics

The leader of Douglas Council isn't expecting the resignation of four councillors from the Liberal Vannin party to have much impact.

David Christian is praising John Faragher, Sara Hackman, Richard Kissack and Carol Malarkey for playing an active role in the work of the council and expects them to work even better as independent members.

He also thinks the Isle of Man is too small for party politics at any level (audio file attached):
