Muk's gone to Iceland

by isleofman.com 7th November 2008
The team due to represent the Isle of Man at this weekend's Northern European Gymnastics Championships is all set for Iceland, and has a strong King William's College flavour to it.

Lower Fifth Form pupil Grace Harrison and Upper Sixth pupil Olivia Curran will be joined by former pupil Mukunda Measuria (pictured) at the prestigious international competition, which takes place in Kopavogur on Saturday and Sunday.

Grace, who was crowned the Island Under-15 Champion a fortnight ago, will be the youngest to compete in the event.

The fourth member of the squad, Adam Hedges, won't be travelling after fracturing a bone in his hand during his warm-up at the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics British Championships in London last weekend.
