College students move to Nunnery

by isleofman.com 8th November 2008
The International Business School at the Nunnery has been officially rebranded as the Island’s new University Centre.

The move by the Department of Education will mean IBS students studying for degrees and MBAs will be joined by Isle of Man College students studying for National Certificates, HNCs and HNDs.

Six staff and 38 full-time students have transferred to the Nunnery, easing pressures on the college as it expands.

Plans are also in place to rehouse the Centre for Manx Studies in the Nunnery grounds in the near future.
