Remembrance weekend praise for public

As the Isle of Man prepares to mark Remembrance Sunday tomorrow, the president of the Royal British Legion in the Island is praising the local community for its support of his organisation.

The Island has regularly won the Poppy Cup for raising more money through poppy sales, per head of population, than any other county in the British Isles.

Ian Cannell says that proud record is a testament to the generosity of the Manx public (audio file attached):
