Douglas go down fighting in Warrington

by isleofman.com 10th November 2008
Warrington retained their 100 per cent record with a 25-16 win over Douglas in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

The league leaders were 15-13 ahead at half-time with Douglas’ points coming courtesy of a Ryan Maddox try and a conversion and two penalties from Bryn Snellgrove.

Snellgrove added a further penalty in the second half but, in the end, Douglas weren’t quite strong enough to overcome the promotion favourites.
