Super sub deepens Corinthians woe

by isleofman.com 10th November 2008
Only one top-flight game survived the weather on Saturday but its outcome could well be crucial come next May.

Substitute Ryan Fairclough was the match-winner as Ramsey continued their fine form with a 1-0 win at Corinthians – a result which leaves Corinthians bottom and facing a long hard winter.

There was more misery for the bottom club in CFS Division Two as Marown hit 10 past Ronaldsway.

A hat-trick from Jeremy Lovett led the way and Ricky Lovett, Paul Dunn, James Sharp, Kenny McGuire and even goalkeeper Stuart Naisbitt were among the scorers in a 10-2 romp.

Tony Rodgers and Paul Skelly grabbed the Rockets’ consolation.
