Soldiers thank former school

A group of soldiers from the Isle of Man have visited their former high school in Douglas, to thank pupils for supporting their regiment.

Students at St Ninian's have been in regular contact with the 1st Batallion, the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, during its recent tour of Iraq.

Three soldiers, on the Island for Remembrance Day, presented the head teacher with a signed photo of the batallion to say "thank you" for all the messages of support.

Lance Corporal Stuart Dawson says the support from the Island was really appreciated (audio file attached):
