An MHK says he won't be attending tomorrow's political briefing on the Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander affair, because he doesn't agree with the chosen forum.
Chief Minister Tony Brown will update members of Tynwald on the latest developments, but Michael MHK David Cannan (pictured) says such sessions should only take place during sittings of Tynwald or the House of Keys.
Mr Cannan says the chief minister has a "democratic duty" to impart such information in public.
He says it shouldn't be a confidential or, what he terms, "secret" meeting because it's a matter of public importance which is affecting every tax payer in the Isle of Man.
