Children to hold remembrance service

It's November 11, and 90 years to the day since the guns fell silent at the end of World War I.

Many people will observe the two-minute silence at 11am, and there will be another service at the War Memorial on Douglas promenade.

Another commemoration will take place at the Royal Chapel of St John (pictured), where pupils from St John's primary school will be holding their own Remembrance Day service.

They will read poems and sing hymns before laying wreaths.

Head teacher Nigel Bennett says it's important the children take part:
