The outside world's perception of the Isle of Man is in the spotlight once again this morning, with a feature in a Financial Times supplement.
Treasury Minister Allan Bell expects a balanced view and says the article could prove very important to the Island and those marketing it.
He told Manx Radio:
"We've had two FT journalists over here for a week or ten days to do a thorough review of the Isle of Man's economy, principally financial services, but also other aspects of the economy.
"They usually have a political slant as well, as to how government is performing and various other internal issues, to have a rounded article to promote in the Financial Times.
"They have complete journalistic freedom, so we have no say over what goes in the paper and the articles, I have to say, have been very fair and very balanced.
"Where they have been critical in the past it's probably justified, and they have identified difficulties that we have been facing."
Story to feature in Wednesday morning's Mandate business news.
