Island appeals to "green" visitors

It's World Responsible Tourism Day, and the Department of Tourism and Leisure is marking the occasion by saying it wants to appeal to visitors who are interested in preserving the environment.

The initiative aims to get holiday makers using environmentally friendly transport and taking low carbon excursions.

DTL Member Geoff Corkish (pictured) believes the Island is already well developed in terms of "responsible tourism":
