Comments sought on Border merger

by isleofman.com 13th November 2008
Isle of Man residents have just over a week to submit their views on changes being implemented by Independent Television (ITV) which will reduce its news coverage of the Island.

A consultation exercise being carried out by the Island's Communications Commission is trying to gauge whether viewers here would be better served by being part of the new Tyne Tees and Border region, or ITV Granada.

Director of the commission Carmel McLaughlin (pictured) says it's important people write in (audio file attached):

The closing date for submissions is Friday, November 21.
