Police are hunting a gang of youths who terrified householders in Pulrose earlier this week.

At about 8pm on Monday, officers were called to Alder Road after a number of youngsters we reported to be throwing stones at a house there.

A number of windows were broken and damage caused to the property which police say resulted in a great deal of distress to residents in the area.

They are now appealing for people to come forward with information.

Anybody with information is asked to ring 631212 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
