There are various fund raising events around the Island today in aid of Children in Need.

The Department of Education is getting behind the cause with, among other things, pupils at Braddan School wearing spotty clothes, an X-factor competition at Marown School and bear raffles and treasure hunts at the Isle of Man College.

The annual charity event aims to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the United Kingdom.
