Lord Chancellor reassures Island

Chief Minister Tony Brown says he is reassured after meeting the United Kingdom's Lord Chancellor Jack Straw.

There were worries in the Isle of Man about the attitude of the UK government after Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling said his government was going to take "a long, hard look" at the Island's status as a tax haven.

But after visiting Westminster yesterday, Mr Brown says Mr Darling isn’t out to scupper the Island's finance sector (extended audio file attached):
