Police investigate thefts from cars

A man is being questioned by police in Peel over a series of thefts from cars in the town at the weekend.

Officers are trying to trace the owners of the property, taken from vehicles in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The items include torches, removable security panels from vehicle CD players and a blue mountain bike.

Local residents are urged to check their vehicles to see if any of those items are missing.

Peel police say a man is helping with inquiries.
