Ramsey’s new ?7.5 million junior school will be formally opened by Chief Minister Tony Brown later today.
Scoill Ree Gorree opened its doors to 257 pupils in September, after replacing Albert Road.
The two-storey building has the capacity for 380 pupils, and has 14 classrooms, special needs and nurture facilities, a library and sporting areas.
The school’s wind band, recorder group and folk group will perform and guests will tour the new facilities.
Among the platform party will be Director of Education John Cain, headteacher Mike Faragher and acting chairman of the school governors Hazel Bradley.
