A popular animation series made in the Isle of Man has scooped two prestigious awards in a week.

Friends and Heroes is a children's Christian programme and has been given an international award from Italy, an 'Adam', which is hailed as the Oscar of Christian cinema.

The series has also been given a Gold accolade by the UK's Christian Broadcasting Council.
