Car stolen in burglary

A car was stolen last night (Sunday) after a burglary at a house in Esplanade Mews on Central Promenade in Douglas.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the burglary in which a blue Volkswagon Passat was taken.

It occurred sometime between 10.30pm and 11.15pm.

The nearby restaurant was open at the time and police are appealing for witnesses who may have been at the restaurant or in the general area and who may have seen someone acting suspiciously.

They’re also reminding people to secure their property.

The vehicle registration is FMN 417T.
