Minister delighted with improved service

The return of three times daily flights from the Isle of Man to London City Airport is being widely welcomed by the business community here.

So says Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney following the news Aer Arran will operate a new service from next January.

An early morning departure and evening return will once again enable business travellers to get to London and back within a day.

The DTI has been in talks to attract an airline to the route, after the demise of Euromanx earlier this year. Since then VLM has operated a single daily service.
