Uncertainty about UK review into Island

It's too early to assess what effect a review of the Isle of Man's regulatory system will have on consumer confidence.

Managing Director of PKF Phillip Dearden says the scope of the investigation by United Kingdom officials is likely to have been decided already.

Treasury Minister Allan Bell will travel to London tomorrow (Thursday) to find out what's going to happen.

Mr Dearden (pictured) is hopeful the Island's high standards will stand up to close scruitiny.

And he denies the UK is trying to make the Island a scapegoat for what's gone wrong there (audio file attached):
