Local television producers Greenlight have been given more than ?750,000 by the Isle of Man Government since they were first established over here.
The figure has been revealed in response to a House of Keys question.
Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney says his department has financially supported the company since 1995 and the total over 13 years amounts to ?755,000.
He says the money's been spent on the purpose built production centre at Tromode and purchase of recording, editing and camera equipment.
Mr Cretney (pictured) says Greenlight Television is the type of business the DTI wants to attract and retain.
He says it's a high value business employing more than 20 employees in a wide range of well paid jobs.
Earlier this year, the company was delivered a blow when the contract to film the TT for next five years was given to off-Island firm North One Television.
Details about the financial assistance given to Greenlight has been revealed because of a change to the DTI's policy regarding grant information.
Previously, the amounts involved would have been considered commercially sensitive.
