Dog attack - owner speaks out

A dog owner whose pet was seriously injured in an attack by another dog, has expressed disappointment that its owner has not yet been prosecuted.

Susan Connor's poodle Rocky was attacked on Ballaquayle Road in Douglas by a bull mastiff type-dog in September.

Although Rocky's made a good recovery, she believes the other animal remains a serious danger.

On Wednesday, Champ, a pit bull brought to the Island illegally, was destroyed after campaigners failed to find him a suitable home elsewhere.

Susan is angry the authorities have not acted so decisively in her case (audio file attached):
