Lions on the loose in Laxey

A group of Lions will be unleashed in Laxey this weekend and they'll be after your money.

The Isle of Man Lions Club is holding its annual Christmas Market in the valley gardens to raise funds for good causes.

Father Christmas will be there and local producers will be selling goods on the stalls.

Last year, the organisers beat the rain with a large marquee.

For the event this Sunday (November 30), Lion Dennis Kneale says they're going even bigger to ensure the weather doesn't dampen the festive spirit (audio file attached):
