Island residents are being warned about a new scam involving bogus parcel deliveries - which could cost you dear.
Targets will be sent a card in the post or a text message telling them a parcel has been sent for them and they should phone a specified number to organise delivery.
But the number is a premium rate recorded message costing ?1.50 per minute.
This latest scam works well in the run up to Christmas, when people will not be surprised to receive international deliveries.
