Arrest threat for Island passenger

by isleofman.com 30th November 2008
An Island resident has spoken out after he and other passengers were forced to stay on a plane for more than an hour and a half, even though the flight had been indefinitely delayed.

Mark Kermode (pictured) of Onchan says he was told he’d be arrested if he and other passengers got off the plane and returned to the terminal at Liverpool airport.

Operational difficulties were cited as the reason.
