TLC helps maximise training budgets

by isleofman.com 1st December 2008
Isle of Man training provider, TLC, will not raise the cost of its training courses in 2009.

And to help clients maximise their training budgets, the company has also developed ‘bulk buy packages’, where reduced rates are offered if clients pre-book a certain number of courses or training days to be used within the year.

Sue Gee, managing director of TLC, said: ‘Training budgets are always the first to be scrutinised when it comes to saving money, but I believe that can be counterproductive.

‘We want to help clients to continue to invest in their people even when money is a bit tight. In the long-term, our customers will still need flexible training packages so that training opportunities can remain consistent.’

TLC are focusing more on other areas of its work such as outsourcing and coaching, which businesses may need more in the current economic climate.
