Woman failed to declare convictions

by isleofman.com 2nd December 2008
Sentence on a 38 year-old woman who admitted deception for financial gain has been adjourned for reports.

Louise Winskill of Poortown Road, Peel appeared before High Bailiff Michael Moyle.

Evidence showed the defendant filled in a work permit form to become a project manager at Noble's Hospital, but failed to declare that she had previous convictions.

She was arrested on November 20 and confirmed she did have a previous record. Winskill thought the time had now lapsed to declare it and said she hadn't read the form properly.

Mr Moyle bailed her until December 16 for sentence.
