DoT says don't risk a sorry New Year

Merry Christmas and a sorry New Year is what the Department of Transport is promising anyone caught drink driving during the holiday period.

The DoT is working with the police to reduce the number of people who drive while under the influence of alcohol.

The campaign was unveiled at the Sea Terminal this afternoon, where an actor playing a drunk man was inprisoned in a giant pint glass.
