Court appearances after big drug seizure

A man and a woman have been remanded in custody in connection with the seizure of almost ?83,000 worth of cocaine.

Thirty-five year-old Jason Clive Pemberton of Hillary Road, Douglas is charged with possessing the drug with intent to supply.

Vicki Anne Sinclair, aged 27, of Seaforth in Liverpool is accused of importing cocaine and supplying it to Mr Pemberton.

The pair will appear in court again on December 9.

Over 1,000 grammes of the drug was seized in Douglas on Friday night.
