Close has expanded its Investment Management Division with four new appointments.

Andrew Buchanan and Rebecca Chambers have been appointed to strengthen Close’s offshore investment management capability and work alongside the existing investment specialists who are based in the Isle of Man, Jersey, London, Manchester and Birmingham offices.

Andrew (pictured) joins Close as senior portfolio manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of discretionary investment management accounts.

Rebecca will work alongside Andrew as trainee portfolio manager.

Two further appointments have been made, with a focus on relationship management and client service.

Mohamed Baluchi, and Andrew Tattersall both take up senior manager roles within the Investment Management Division.

Rex Cowley, head of international & HNW marketing at Close, said: ‘This is an important strategic move for the investment business and will differentiate us from competitors.

‘The focus will also fund assets under management and growth into our collective investment vehicles.’
