Impact of VAT changes on economy

The Treasury Minister has re-iterated his concerns about next year's budget.

Allan Bell was speaking in the House of Keys today, during questions on the effect the ?40 million reduction in VAT receipts could have on the Manx economy.

Michael MHK David Cannan is calling for members of Tynwald to be given a chance to express their views on how government expenditure is prioritised, prior to February's budget.

Mr Bell (pictured) has no objection, but says he could not provide specific information:
