The global economy will take some time to recover from the current problems, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
That's the view of economist with the Royal Bank of Scotland Ross Walker who has been on the Island to talk about the financial shock of the past couple of months.
He says there is no quick fix for what's been happening, and the wounds will take some time to heal.
