It's being suggested the Council of Ministers opposes extensions to question time in Tynwald and the House of Keys to avoid its democratic responsibilities.
The allegation is being made in a Keys question from Michael MHK David Cannan, down for tomorrow's sitting.
Mr Cannan wants to know if it's CoMin policy to vote against the extensions, which he believes "prevents proper scrutiny and accountability of executive government".
It's not the first time an issue relating to question time itself has been raised - in the past it's been claimed the privilege is being abused by members trying to gain as much publicity as possible.
Other subjects for tomorrow's sitting include public sector pensions, contingency plans in the event of an Island recession, the carers' allowance, the accuracy of MEA bills and what the Department of Agriculture has achieved so far with the Bradda Glen and cafe facility.
After question time the clauses of four bills will be considered and, with a number of amendments to three of them, the process is likely to take some time.
Keys questions will be broadcast live on Manx Radio's AM 1368 frequency from 10am tomorrow.
