Manx record goes to Middle East

The world's biggest potato, unearthed in the Isle of Man over a decade ago, no longer holds the record.

It's been beaten by a farmer in Lebanon.

The former record holder was bought by Greens restaurant in Douglas and put on display.

Proprietor Nigel Kermode says it's still a champion vegetable as far as he's concerned and plans to display it again (play attached audio file):
