New SDSL services

by isleofman.com 11th December 2008
Manx Telecom has revamped its business broadband service for SDSL users.

SDSL, short for Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line, is used by companies who need fast uploads and downloads, where home users use ADSL for fast downloads.

From the start of this month, SDSL services were rolled out Island-wide, whereas previously, they had only been available in Douglas, Castletown, and Ramsey.

There are two versions of SDSL available from Manx Telecom, a managed service and a wires-only product.

Manx Telecom says the move means more companies can now take advantage of SDSL technology to enhance their business.
