Property market still strong

by isleofman.com 23rd December 2008
Estate agent Chrystals says despite a year of economic turmoil around the globe, house prices in the Isle of Man have risen over the last twelve months.

The company says the average price of a house has gone up by four per cent and currently stands at ?292,000.

But there is bad news for flat owners, with the average price of an apartment tumbling from ?280,200 to ?235,600.

Chrystals also says there has been sustained and consistent demand from high net worth individuals and the top end of the market is still strong.
