Retirement of dedicated employee

by isleofman.com 24th December 2008
Michael Lees has officially said "goodbye" to Conister Trust, after 41 years with the company.

He began as a 19 year-old trainee underwriter, and ended his career as Head of Marketing.

More than 70 people attended a retirement party at the Empress Hotel, including many who Mike said he had helped through the years.

He said providing services for garages and other businesses enabled him to meet many people, some of whom he had working relationships with for over 30 years.

Conister Trust Managing Director Simon Hull thanked Mike for his hard work and dedication to the company and said he would be missed.

Mike Lees (pictured) is Chairman of Arthritis Research in the Isle of Man, a member of the Isle of Man Arts Council and Chairman of the Manx Amateur Dramatics Federation.
