Staff up for community award

by isleofman.com 30th December 2008
Staff at the Royal Bank of Scotland International in the Isle of Man have been shortlisted for a company award which recognises service to the community.

Earlier this year, the workers raised ?21,000 for Michael Bellis, a 28 year-old from Douglas who needed ?50,000 for an operation on a brain tumour.

They have now been told they are in the running for the bank’s annual Chairman’s Awards for Community Excellence.

Nine members of the Isle of Man Retail Feedback Team have been shortlisted and will find out whether they have won in March.
