FPI applauds Allan Bell's budget

Confirmation there is to be no change to the Isle of Man's levels of corporate and personal taxation has been welcomed by one of its leading financial services companies, Friends Provident International.

Commenting shortly after the announcement of the 2009 budget, FPI's technical services manager Brendan Harper said it was vital the Island retained a stable political, economic and fiscal environment, especially given the current global downturn.
